My Hope
My hope is somebody from IHouse views this Blog and is willing to finally talk to me about getting things corrected. We want the service, if we can get it to work.
Problem 4 - Listings Appear on our Competitor's Site Before our own I-House Site
IHouse appears to be having issues updating both their IDX and Agent Sites. Most listings are taking at least a week to appear, and when they do, they are still missing pictures. When we questioned why it was taking so long, I received an email claiming it was our MLS's fault due to their archaic software. I might appreciate that response if my competitor was not able to display my listing with 24 hours. As you can imagine, our sellers do not appreciate the response.
Problem 3 - Visitor Registration on the IDXPro Office
After over a month of dealing with IHouse's Board Membership, and our supposed compliance, we were finally moving forward.
We began to assign our agents their links, when we noticed that individual agents had the ability to change all other agent's visitor registration including the office. We notified IHouse and after 3 weeks received the following email:
"The Visitor Registration is complete and not unfinished. What you are looking at as an incomplete feature, we see as a feature request that I have actually pushed to get added. This how our product manager and engineers have designed it regardless if it may not work for you as it stands. Of thousands of clients that are using Visitor Registration, nobody that I can see has requested this. I?m not saying that it isn't a good request. I believe it's valid, but we have many projects that we are working on at this time, so the soonest I can make this happen is at least 4 weeks. "
So, the software was designed to allow any of our agents to change every other agent in their office's registration settings including the office? I think not.

Problem 2 - IHouse Web Solution's Internal Audit
After reaching an agreement on splitting IHouse's membership to our board, we submitted our application and were promptly approved by our Board.
One month into it, our IDX was SHUT OFF with NO WARNING. Reason? IHouse Internal Audit claimed we were not in compliance. When asked to forward any contact from our board, they said there wasn't any. IHouse made this decision on their own in order to assure "their compliance".
After verifying our compliance with our Board, it still took 2 weeks to "convince" some woman working in IHouse's Internal Audit Department. This woman's need to be correct, actually caused her to call our board to try to convince our board of our non-compliance. After numerous emails and phone calls, she finally conceded in turning on our IDX stating that we were not in compliance, but our board said we could use the software. Our board does not agree with her analysis, but we appeared to be ready to roll, so what did it matter what she thought as long as we were moving forward? IDX policies were emailed to her, but she was insistent that she was the policing force for our board while our board continued to scratch their heads to what part of we were in compliance she did not understand.
If looking for another governing authority other than NAR, state law, or your board, choose IHouse. They will be happy to attempt to determine your compliance even if that differs from your actual governing authorities.

Problem 1 - FALSE ADVERTISING
After owning an Agent site without IDX support, I was so thrilled to receive a marketing email that my board was now available. Decided to move our office site to their service, to be told, they actually were not a Member of our Board and it would require a $600 start-up fee in order to pay I-House's Membership Dues. Reached an agreement to split the fee with them. Beware if they say they are Members of your Board. Double check with your boards.
